About us

We are a small RHS Gold medal winning family nursery based in Somerset and Mid-Devon based across 3 sites. We live in Taunton, have a parcel of woods near Milverton in Somerset and have land near Clayhanger in Devon. As a philosophy we tend towards organic principals where ever possible, and have a range of helpers including our ducks which provide us with assistance in the garden and in protecting ourselves from ticks and our Hostas from slugs and snails. Our other helper, or companion is a Beagle called Indie, named after the dog in Indiana Jones movies, and he tends have have the same spirit as the lead character. We have kept and grown Hostas for over thirty years and started growing commercially once we first purchased the woods in 2019, and won our first award in 2022 at the Taunton Flower Show when we won a cup for our hosta in a mug. Since then we attend several Plant Fairs and Shows in the South West and West, where we enjoy meeting and greeting customers and friends alike.
